The content of the sessions continues to evolve with each and every child and school we meet.

As the programme is being undertaken, our programme facilitators/class teachers/TA's will be taking time to identify the children who may be struggling a little more with issues of confidence, anxiety and low self-esteem. We will also identify the children who may appear over-confident, and find ways to hone their exuberance! Once the programme has been completed, discussions will take place between our programme facilitator and the school and we can then put provisions in place to help these children with some further sessions geared more towards their personal needs if appropriate.

We are incredibly proud of the programme and believe it will become an invaluable asset to any school...to any child.

Make Thumbs Up work for your children:-

Throughout the programme we will identify areas that your children may need some extra help - with confidence building, self-esteem etc. We will then work with the schools to undertake some work in smaller groups. Conversely, the school can approach us with any concerns about any children and their particular struggles and we can devise a programme based upon their individual/small group needs to help them achieve their full potential.

What we do works - we asked two year 3 classes at St Bridget's C of E Primary School what they remembered that they had learnt from session 1 to session 6, they pretty much remembered everything - this is why we are starting our year 3 four year programme:-
